Meet Stephanie LeBlanc - Your Local Landscape Designer

Owner, Master in the Field Landscape Design

My name is Stephanie LeBlanc and I’m a Landscape Designer in Toronto. I graduated from Metropolitan University, School of Landscape Design. Landscape Design is a second career bringing me back to my roots of Fine Arts. Currently, I’m working towards a Certified Landscape Designer (CLD) certification, am a member of Landscape Ontario and have become their Designers Sector Group representative at the National level.

My belief is that beautiful and long-lasting landscapes require both a knowledgeable and creative designer to achieve the best results. Landscape Design is at the forefront of reimaging an outdoor space and starts with understanding science, construction and design.

I love creating intimate outdoor spaces that change the way you LIVE and FEEL in your outdoor spaces. Outdoor spaces where you can enjoy time spent alone or with family and friends.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Landscaping is an investment involving a lot of moving parts. Knowing where to start can be challenging and stressful. Having a Landscape Designer, like me, at your side to guide, design and manage your project ensures your money is well spent and the end result is a landscape you love.

  • All of my landscape designs start with a pencil and sketchbook. I collect images of anything that inspires me for your design. Since this is a collaboration, I also love if you share images of anything you love too. From there, I move to the computer and a 2D architectural landscape design which is submitted to you either printed or electronically.

  • A landscape design will take between 4-8+ weeks, depending on the complexity and size of your project. A final design is presented to Landscaping Contractors for quoting. Depending on the availability of a Contractor, from start to finish, you are looking at approximately 3-9 months for the completion of your re-imagined outdoor landcape!

  • My landscape design style is influenced by a variety of Landscape Architects and Landscape Designers from current and historical times. I also look closely at current trends, environmental factors and any landscaping product advancements. My landscape designs become my vision of what you are hoping to experience in your landscapes. With each project, this interpretation is unique to you.

  • Most of the time this is true my landscape designs are in Toronto. If you are outside of those boundaries but want to inquire, we can discuss your project. Thankfully, technology allows us to work together virtually.

  • Depending on the size and scope of your landscaping project, it is possible to execute an installation on your own. There can be a lot of moving parts and heavy labour, so many clients choose to hire a Landscaping Contractor. A Contractor takes my landscape design to completion. They get you needed permits, builds all the required elements, installs plants, irrigation, lighting, etc. so you don’t have to worry about the process and can just enjoy the results!
