The Backyard Refresh is in Toronto. Master in the Field Landscape Design is a Toronto landscape design firm. The yard was reimaged by masterinthefield.ca blending privacy and beauty using hedging trees and colourful perennials..

Backyard REFRESH

This landscape design is in Toronto. This Woodland Cottage landscape design was created by Master in the Field Landscape Design. The landscape design included a new dining area plus lots of native trees, shrubs and perennial plants.

Woodland COTTAGE

This landscape is in Toronto. European Charm was designed by Master in the Field Landscape Design. Privacy was achieved using hedging plants. Texture and colour with perennials.

European CHARM

Botanical images define the Master in the Field brand. Butterflies are a crucial pollinator. I aim to create landscape designs with plants that will provide food for insects as well as beauty and pleasure for clients.
Stephanie LeBlanc, Certified Landscape Designer, is a graduate of Metropolitan University's Landscape Design program. The business name is Master in the Field. Beautiful landscapes are rooted in knowledge of plants, soil, the environment and design.

My greatest pleasure comes from transforming landscapes and bringing them to life. For me this means a space full of function, beauty and anything you can imagine! A space with a new patio, pool, fire pit, or sport court. A space that awakens your senses with sweet smells, sounds of rustling leaves, and the sight of flowers blooming. A space where you FEEL proud, excited, relaxed, happy, healed, and more connected to family, friends, and to nature!

  • Consultation with a Landscape Designer

    IN PERSON CONSULTATION

    This is our chance to meet and for me to assess the scope of your project. From here I provide you with a design quote detailing all aspects.

  • Landscaping Site Analysis

    02.

    SITE ANALYSIS

    When the quote is accepted, a 50% deposit is due. I proceed to analyze your site, take measurements and pictures.

  • Landscape Design Process

    DESIGN PROCESS

    After a defined period of time, I present you with your designs. You provide feedback, I complete revisions and deliver a final design. At this point, the design fee balance is due.

  • Landscaping Contractor Quotes

    04.

    CONSULTING WITH CONTRACTORS

    Should you require a Contractor, I will procure two quotes including preparing the site, amending soil, installing hardscape, planting, etc. At the same time, I will procure a quote for plants and arrange delivery.

  • Landscaping Installation and Maintenance

    INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE

    For an additional fee, I can be on site for your installation to project manage and place plants according to the design. A maintenance plan will be provided to ensure your new plants succeed.
